PROM lovin'

Right now I am semi annoyed that Blogger deleted the post I had been working on about how I helped my lovely cousin, B, get ready for the prom.

Maybe that was a sign that no one cares? Too bad! I will re-cap anyways :)

There is nothing I like better than making people pretty.
Or making them feel pretty.

Of course, we didn't have to do much to B because she is already GORGEOUS!

I brought my mega make-up trunk just in case.

I am a little obsessed with make-up.
Especially lip gloss.
I share this addiction with my boss' 2 year old girl.
We play princess a lot. (It comes naturally to us ;])

Bubbly B and Prince Patrick's Little Brother...let's call him, Twizzler [because this is what my lil cousin Reagan calls him.]

So so so cute. Aren't they adorable?
You know what prom reminds me of?

The first time Prince Patrick spent the night at my house.
He was in college.
He came and crashed my senior after prom party at my house.

(j/k he was invited...we had just started dating)

(and by dating I mean "hanging out" or whatever you called it back know when you talked a lot and made out but someone had just got out of a relationship and didn't want to call you his girlfriend yet...that kind of thing.)

(btw, I never really got this whole 'not wanting to hurt anyone's feelings' type of thing. I am just more of an "IN YOUR FACE" type of person. Does this make me an awful person? I know Lo still loves me.)

Yup, it was love from the start. No matter what title you may or may not have had.

By the way, my title is "WIFE" now...BAM [in your face]!

Brother Drew

This is my first post from my Droid. I always read blogs from my phone but I don't ever post. Random but anyways...I had to share some exciting news with y'all!

My amazing and talented brother accepted a job in New Mexico coaching with his former college coach, Coach Steve Alford!

I am so very excited for him. Check out one article below!

Have a fabulous weekend everyone!

I had the best of intentions earlier today while I thought of what I was going to post tonight. It included happy thoughts of sunshine and baking a red velvet cake. However, then the Grouchy Bug bit me. And thus, my mood has changed.

Now all I can focus on is how bad my feet hurt and how I have a 12 hour work day ahead of me tomorrow. The bad thing about working 12 hours a day is that I only have 12 hours after that until I have to be back at work. And 8 of them I need to be sleeping. After all, this princess needs her beauty sleep.

Anyways, as always...I am thankful for a job that I love and thankful that I am able to work. I am also thankful for a paycheck...because I like to shop. A lot.

Check back later for a more positive post ;)

Weekend Recap

"The fight against terror goes on, but tonight America has sent an unmistakable message: No matter how long it takes, justice will be done.” [George W. Bush]

I was going to talk about my weekend, but of course I had to begin the post with a victory yell for Bin Laden being dead! Whoop whoop.

NOW, my weekend recap. Prince Patrick and I headed up North to visit my cousins! As always, it was so much fun hanging around them. My mom came up too, so we had some aunts/cousins time as well.

When we got back home, we decided to begin work on our yard. Oh bother, does it need it. I had bought pretty flowers and all I wanted to do was plant them!! I was so anxious...seriously, you should have seen me. But, we have this hideous rock in our bed so we had to get that out of there first. Hmm, by the way...this is a lot harder than it looks. And what are we supposed to do with this rock? Needless to say, we only got one of my plants planted because we only got a little rock cleared.

Then it started raining. Which should come as no surprise seeing as it has rained for the past week.

Sweet news: our house is completely repainted. Now I can show you all pictures!

I better get going on my daily errands, it is getting ready to start raining any minute.

Dear Kate, my Prince is better!
