Hello Spring!

So dispite a crazy couple of weeks, I am back.
ABQ was delightful and I only wished the Lobos could have prolonged their time in the NCAA tourney. But that is okay because at least they made the tournament and won their first game. And deep down in my heart, I know they are way better than Louisville. Already looking forward to what next basketball season will bring.

A day after I got home, both my dad and grandpa were in the hospital. Fortunately both are doing good now, but talk about stress!

It is officially springtime in Indiana. I am absolutely loving the weather, it is gorgeous. My allergies however, are not doing so well. I think I also have a slight sinus infection because I have had a fever the past two days.

Speaking of fevers, who actually goes to work for 12 hours while they have a fever? That'd be me. After I bitch about people coming in our office sick, I had to go to work sick. It was terrible and I felt achy and heavy all day. Fortunately I am much better :) My mood has improved as well, haha.

I have another fever and it would be...Spring Fever. I just want to be outside and wear cute dresses. I also have decided that I must get these adorable J Crew shorts:

My legs aren't as skinny as hers but I think they would still be lovely.

I am also ready for a beach vacation. How about you, Prince Patrick? I haven't seen the ocean for over a year and I miss it dearly.


I only have one more day of work this week and then I will be ready to party with Cassie on Friday! We are going to go see The Hunger Games and I can hardly wait. She introduced me to the books a while back and I have been hooked ever since :) So excited!

Hello from Albuquerque!

So excited to finally be here. I am really happy to be spending time with my older brother and mom! My dad, little bro, and hubby are back in Indiana but maybe some time we can all go out together.

Yesterday I got to experience my first game in The Pit. Let me just say, they aren't kidding when they say it's one of the best sporting atmospheres in the country. It was crazy in there! The Lobos stomped Air Force so the game wasn't too exciting (even though Drew likes those kind of games) but it was still incredible. I also enjoy the games where we win by 30 because everyone gets to play. I'm such a mom in that way. I like to see everyone get the chance to play.

I will be sure to add some pictures from my trip later. I am using my iPad and am struggling trying to upload some right now, haha.

So I definitely enjoyed Day 1 and looking forward to some fun things today. Tomorrow we are going to Santa Fe for the day which also should be great. I am enjoying all things New Mexico so far!
